SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme more info [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to read more access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue developed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
